Watermark Update

Finishing up series on Revelation this week.
This week is our last sermon studying the Context and Audience of Revelation. It has been a really great time of considering where we are as a church, and where God would like to take us. I hope that it has been a blessing on you all.
Next up… Ephesians. We’re going to take a deep look at the letter to a  city that conquered even under intense unparralelled persecution under a Godless empire, and built a church that, over time, won the city for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Ladies Brunch this Saturday @ 10:30 am

Baby + Home Blessing For the Enfinger Family
Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 14! After our Sunday service we will be gathering at a pavilion across the street at the Sulphur Springs Park to celebrate the Enfinger’s baby boy who is due to arrive in July. We will also gather to bless their new home, which is in the process of being rebuilt from a tragic fire last year. The Enfinger family has no furniture except for their bed, so it is our hope that we can all come together to help meet this need as their church community. We would like to ask that everyone bring a giftcard to help them through this tough time as well as a side dish for our potluck picnic! Hope everyone can make it out- the more that are able to come and provide, the more of the need we will meet!

Women’s Study Launch
April 22, 2009, 11:02 am

“Women of Watermark! Beginning May 16th, we will be starting a weekly study on the book of Esther in a study called “Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman” by Beth Moore. It will be an in-depth and very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. Beth Moore peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to our lives. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives. We will be meeting on Saturdays at 10am at Cyndi Young’s. You can purchase a workbook at LifeWay for $15 or online at lifeway.com. Contact Joy Engdahl (813-785-9071) or Shayna Lopez 509-499-1313) for any questions!” Thanks! Joy

Easter Sunday

In a world where everything is breaking down and falling apart under the strain of sin and death, there was ONE EVENT that gives us hope that things can be made right again, that people can be made whole again, and that there is a cure for sin and death. That is what we will be celebrating this sunday morning… we call it Easter! The day when a single reversal… from death to life… speaks of a better future that God has planned for us.

Please come out and join us this week as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will spend some time talking about what the ressurection meant for those in the time of Jesus, and what it means for us today.
